The Scroll of Starving Ghosts
The starving ghosts inhabit a space between Hell and the Realm of Humans, among whom they can mingle invisibly. For their misspent lives they suffer unappeasable hunger and thirst, which drives them to seek their food in graveyards and their water at holy wells, from which they cannot drink.
